He also survived by his siblings: Lionel Roberts, Marie Roberts, and Cecil Roberts, numerous grandchildren, and great grands numerous nieces and nephews and in-laws.

We regret to announce the passing of Humphrey Randolph [“Teets”] Dickinson, in his 91st year of “Sea Splash”, 55 North Shore Road, Pembroke, beloved husband of the late Thelma Celeste Dickinson, son of the late Humphrey and Ruth Dickinson.  Loving father to Debra Paynter [Richard], and the late Randolph William Dickinson, pre-deceased by sisters Gloria Bascome, Sheila Swan and Mae Dickinson. 

Lovingly remembered by grandchildren Kyhan Smith [Tara], Latanya Carmichael [Jamie], Sean Dickinson [Renee], Angela Dickinson, Keenan Paynter, Amber Paynter- Bradshaw, Jules and Jayde Dickinson; great grandchildren Maceo, Malia, Noah and Tikoa.  He will be sadly missed by nieces, nephews, Bright Temple family and Probation Services family, and a host of other relatives and friends.

We regret to announce the passing of Eula Ivy Gertrude Simmons, formerly of Somerset, Whale Bay, Southampton  and Orchard Grove, Pembroke East. Eula was the daughter of the late William and Edith Marie Simmons, and great aunt to Jennifer Simmons [Deandre], Terrilynn Herbert-Trott and Pastor Terence Herbert.  She was in her 100th year.

Eula was the sister of the late Helena [Hilton] Tucker, McIvor [Lucille], James [Phyllis], Dorothy [Hubert], and Olive Marie Simmons.  She was the aunt to Robert [Jimmy] Simmons, Elsie Webb, Paulette Simons, Oriel Simons, Bradley, Raymond, and Lydia Simmons, Hattie [Robert] McHardy, the late Winston and Faye Simmons, and the late Rosalind [Leon] Herbert, and godmother to the late Karen Herbert. Eula was a long-time member of Mt. Zion AME, and most recently fellowshipped at First Church of God, Somerset, and Heard Chapel AME Church. She leaves to celebrate her memory, the Simmons, Smith, Douglas, McIntosh, Bremar and Herbert families, former employer Mrs. Barritt, Special Friends Eryl Govia and Nancy [the late Jeff and Margaret] care givers; Ruthella and Ryan Smith, Angela Brangman, and numerous other family and friends.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dr. Eva Naomi Hodgson, in her 96th year. She was the daughter of the late Ilene Hodgson [nee Furbert] and the late Harold Hodgson, loving sister of Grace E. Swan [nee Hodgson] and brother Arthur Hodgson [Liris]. Her sisters Ruth Paynter [late Gerald Paynter]; Damaris Smith [Vincent] and her brother, Harold B. Hodgson predeceased her.

She is remembered as our loving Aunt by Carollee Trott [Otto]; Anthony Foster [Ella]; Angelita Dill [Edgar]; Maria Watlington [Simon]; Odinga Hodgson; and Jelani Hodgson.

She is also remembered as loving Great Aunt by Matthew Trott; Antonia Foster; Erek Fox [Jessica]; Joella Foster; Carmen Fox; Haley Fox; Arianna Hodgson; Rhiannon Ryden and Imani Hodgson. She was a loving Great-Great Aunt to Noelani Lamm; Xari Wade; Cassidy Showers and Aiden Quinn.
She is also survived by numerous cousins and friends. Special thanks to our dear loving caregiver Robin Harford.

A graveside service will be at Holy Trinity Church, Hamilton Parish, Thursday June 4th, 2020 @ 3:00 pm. The protocol to be maintained: wear facial masks and social distancing in respect of the COVID-19 regulations.

A memorial service in her honor will be announced later.

Viewing will take place on Monday June 8th, 2020 at the Hamilton Seven Day Adventist Church from 5pm – 9pm. 

Due to the Covid 19 pandemic guide lines in place we will only be able to have a maximum of 10 persons at any given time in the Church for viewing. As a result we appreciate your understanding by following these guidelines. 

Viewing for family members only will be from 3pm – 5pm. 

Please honor Reginald’s memory by wearing a mask and practicing physical distancing. 

Details for Reginald’s home-going service will be announced at a later date.

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mrs. Lina G. Cooper, Our View, 10 Scenic Place, Southampton beloved wife of the late Homer L. Cooper in her 89th year. Loving mother to daughter Yvonne (Dean) and son Steven Cooper; granddaughter Haley Raynor and grandson Haroon Eve (Marina). Lina is also survived by her late husband’s children daughters Vera Green, Norma Hughes, Marcia Trott, Myra and Janis Cooper and son Homer Neil Cooper. Special grand-daughters Ruby Outerbridge and Carla Outerbridge-Wren, Christina and Erin Wren. Family friend Elva Simons and the St. Anne’s Church Family. Lina is also survived by a large extended family in Switzerland and the United States. Lina’s Ashes will be scattered at a later date following cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Lefroy House in her name.
