A Home Going service for Mrs. Esther Eloise Burgess nee Whitter, daughter of the late Charles and Ethel Whitter, loving mother to Larry Trott, Lynnette Pitt-Masters and Paula Brangman [Trenton, Sr.], sister to the late Cyril, Charles, Earlston, Harold and Leon Whitter, Doris Smith and Cora Castle,
in her 90th year of 22 Overview Hill, Pembroke will be held at St. John’s Church, Pembroke on Thursday, February 27, 2020 at 2:00 pm.

Interment will follow the service at St. John’s Cemetery.
Relatives and friends may pay their last respects at Augustus Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 26, 2018 from 7:30 pm – 9:00 pm also at Augustus Funeral Home on Thursday, February 27, 2020 from 1:00 pm – 1:45 pm.

A service was held in Calgary on February 16th, 2020 for family and friends in Canada

A private memorial will be held for closest family and friends in Bermuda at Somerset Long Bay on March 22nd, 2020 via invitation only

A Homegoing Service for Joycelyn Marie Burgess [nee Thompson], wife to the late Howard Burgess; daughter of the late William and Pearl Thompson; loving mother to Steven Burgess, in her 99th year, of 27 Wellington Back Road, St. George’s GE 03, will be held at St. Peter’s Church on Thursday,  March 12th , 2020, at 2pm. Relatives and friends may pay their respects from 1:00pm – 1:50pm in the Clara Spencer School Room.

Internment to immediately follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery.  

Joycelyn is also survived by nephews Curt [the late Lautina] and Dale [Kelzine] Thompson, Dave Carlington; nieces Karen Carlington and Bernadette Tucker [Ryan]; great nephews, Iziah and Yari Tucker, Mason Swan; great nieces Brittani and Brianna Carlington, Jasmine Thompson, Isis Tucker; brother-in-law Francis McIntosh, sister-in-law Rose Thompson, the Frith family, special cousins Audrey Bassett and Winifred Jones; special godson Leroy Outerbridge; special friends Carol Bell, Donna Shawki, Joy Outerbridge and Kimberley Carlington; numerous other relatives and friends. She is predeceased by brothers Emmitt, Sidney, Vincent, Floyd Thompson and sisters Marie Thompson, Lois Carlington and Natalie McIntosh.
