Augustus Funeral Home regrets to announce the death of Mr. John Henry Galloway [Big Daddy Gates] passed at Leesburg General Hospital in Leesburg, Florida on Friday July 7, 2017 at the age of 77 years old.

His funeral took place at the Fathers House Leesburg Florida on Thursday July 13, 2017.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years Ursula Galloway, daughter Carla Baptiste [McNeal], Kali Winchell [Brandt], sons Don Baisden [Phillipa], Otis Galloway, Sister In-Law Judith Beach [Raymond], Brother In-Law Paul Seymour [Vilma], grandchildren, nieces, nephews cousins, family and friends.

There will be a memorial service at a later date.

Interment will take place at Christ Church Cemetery, Devonshire on Friday, July 21, 2017 at 2:00 pm.

Flowers may be sent.

Relatives and friends may pay their respects at Augustus Funeral Home Rose Chapel this evening Thursday, July 20, 2017 from 7:30 – 9:00pm only.

Also surviving are grandchildren: Michae’ and Tekalia Skinner; brother-in-law: Peter Chapman [Rae]; nieces: Linda Decouto, numerous nieces and nephew; special friends: Kathy Burgess, Clara Belle and Cecil White and Family.

Herbert Skinner was predeceased sister-in-law: Marion Paley.

A service celebrating the life of Mr. Albert Ronald ‘Shorty’ Churm, Sr. husband of  Fanny Churm, father of the late Albert Ronald ‘Brother’ ‘Shorty’ Churm, Jr., Sheri Lema [Michael] and Barbara Ingemann [Oluf], in his 85th year of #9 East Naval Tanks Hill, St. George’s GE 03, will be held at St. Peter’s Church, St. Georges on Tuesday, August 1st, 2017 at 4:00 p.m.  Interment will follow in St. Peter’s cemetery.

There will be no viewing.

‘Shorty’ is also survived by his sister Ruth Holder, daughter-in-law Jennifer Churm; sisters-in-law Agnes Moniz and Olive Robinson [USA]; grandchildren Mathew, Alicia & Anya Churm, Chantel Ingemann; great grandchild Xadé Ingemann Whitter, numerous nephews, nieces, cousins too numerous to name.

Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Warwick.

Visitation:  Relatives and friends my pay their last respects on Tuesday only from 4:00 p.m. until 4:50 p.m. at the Church Hall.

Vivian is survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

Vivian was predeceased by her brothers Edward Smith, Clarence Smith, Joseph Smith,  Agnel Smith; and sisters Kitsie Simons, Mildred Stoneham, Viola Bean and Ailene Smith.
