David Alfred Lister

David Alfred Lister, 78, died December 6, 2017 at Tampa General Hospital. His memorial services will be held on Saturday- December 9, 2017 at 11am. Services will be held at Carrollwood Bible Chapel located at 15316 Casey Road, Tampa, FL. Mr. Lister was born in Bermuda. He was married to Anita Lister for 55 years. Resided in multiple states [New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maryland] but retired in Florida 14 years ago with his wife. Member of the Carrollwood Bible Chapel and Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity. He earned a Bachelor’s degree from the Central State College [University] and law degree from Stetson School of Law. He will be deeply missed by his family and many friends. Survived by his loving wife- Anita Lister. Two daughters: Mimi Toney [Sheldon Toney] and Gigi Barton [Keith Barton]. Six grandchildren: Myles Barton [Courtney Barton], Kiel Barton, Jeremy Toney [Paris Toney], Mark Barton, Dominique Toney and Paris Barton. One great granddaughter.
