We regret to announce the death or Mrs. Marion Theresa Lemond [nee Townsend], wife of the late Rudolph Lemond, beloved mother of Olga [Hon. Alex] Scott and Lorna Wyatt; grandmother to Robyn [Deon] Eve, Lawrence Scott MP, Dacia Wyatt and Carey Wyatt; great-grandmother to Netanya Eve and Josiah Eve in her 104h year of “Leafy-Hollow”, 7 Pinnacle Hill Paget PG02. A service celebrating her life will be held at St. Mary’s Church, Middle Road, Warwick on Thursday, October 6th at 4:00 p.m.
Internment will follow at St. Mary’s Church Cemetery. Relatives and friends may pay their respects at Cobb’s Hill Methodist Church, Moonlight Lane, Warwick on Wednesday evening October 5th only from 7:30p.m. to 9:00p.m. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Project Action, 2 Rose Hill, St. George GE04 or Butterfield account # 262-282-100.
Also surviving are her devoted caregiver Nicola Gowdie; nephews Leroy, Peter and Donald Townsend of USA; cousins Hazel Franklin, Lincoln Thompson and family; special grandchildren Colleen Williams-Rhoden and Rosemarie “Noi” McDonald of the UK; the Folkes, Cooper, Wright and Williams families, the Cobb’s Hill Methodist Church family; numerous other relatives and friends in Bermuda, Jamaica and the United States.
