Augustus Funeral Home regrets to announce the death of Doris Josephine Corbin, beloved wife of the late Clarence C Corbin, mother to George W and Charles [Canty] Corbin also the late Michael Corbin in her 104th year of # 6 Cemetery Lane Pembroke.
A celebration of Mrs. Corbin’s remarkable life will begin with a viewing on Friday, September 11 at the Augustus Funeral Home Rose Chapel, between 7 and 9pm.
Service will be held at 2pm on Saturday, September 12 at St. Paul AME Church, Hamilton. Interment will follow at St. John’s Anglican Church.
She also leaves to cherish her memory niece Helen Foster, nephews Miles Manders and Merritt Manders [Poria], great nieces Lynette Brown, Rene Browne, Rebekah Foster, Diane Foster, great nephew Michael Brown, and other family and close friends, locally and internationally, too numerous to mention.
Maxi her cat [rescued] brought her comfort, especially after the passing of her beloved Clarence.
Funeral service arrangements will be announced later.
