It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Gilda Caetano Roque of # 7 Twin Lanes, Hamilton Parish, beloved wife of the late Nicholas [Nicky] Rodrigues Roque, daughter of the late Joao Caetano Martins and the late Maria Dos Anjos Sousa Martins; loving mother to Essie Hans [John], Virginia Williams, David Roque [Heather], John Roque [Elizabeth] and Phillip Roque [Donna]; special granny/vovie to grandchildren, great –grands, nieces, nephews, here and abroad.
A private Mass of Christian Burial was held on Friday, 1st October 2021 at St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church, Smith’s.
She also leaves to mourn her passing other relatives, friends and the family and staff of Sylvia Richardson Care Facility. Special thanks to Dr. Ross, Dr. Hoefert, Coralita Simmons and Paulette Woodley, Amis Memorial Chapel and Mrs. Gibbons of Gardine’s Flowers.
