Augustus Funeral Home regrets to announce the passing of Winifred Joycelyn Paynter [née Bowen], loving wife of the late Percy Paynter, daughter of the late Juanita ‘Nita’ Bowen [née Richardson] & Arnette ‘Picker’ Bowen, beloved mother of Vernon ‘Butch’ Paynter [Melva], Juanita ‘Cookie’ Knight, Jo-Anne Dyer [Stephen] and Donna-Mae Buckley [John] of UK; step-sons: Percy ‘Millard’ Paynter [Carol] and the late Ronald & Neville Paynter and Tina Thompson; special children: Valerie Lightbourne, Linda Pryor [USA], Leonard “Dock” Davis [Marlene] and Durenda Hassell [Andre]. Sister to Constance ‘Connie’ Stroman [Walter] of Maryland and the late Ashton ‘Brotha’ Bowen; special sister: Winifred Grant; sister-in-law: Marie Weller, in her 92nd year of 30 St. John’s Road, Pembroke HM-02.
