We regret to announce the passing of Sandra Ismay DeSilva [Joyiens, nee Trott Dickinson].
A private home-going service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, 9th July 2021 to celebrate the life of Sandra Ismay DeSilva [ Joyiens, nee Trott Dickinson], wife of the late Louis “Red” DeSilva of 12 Ramgoat Hill, Smith’s Parish, beloved mother of Annette Glasford and Gina Joyiens, daughter of Mrs. Pauline Dickinson, sister of Donald Trott [Diane], Bernice Burt [Leroy] and Deborah Dickinson [Brandon Robinson], grandmother of KaVon Busby, Keon Glasford and Evan Andrade, aunt of Javon Burt [Desha].
There will be no viewing.
Sandra is also survived by aunts Mrs. Phyllis Trott [late Cecil], Mrs. Barbara Dyer [Albert], her special aunt Mrs. Joycelyn Smith, Amy and Nancy Botelho; cousins Cecily Smith [Herman “Butch”], Clarence and Dennis Trott, her special cousin Alberta Dyer Tucker [Jay], Lovette Smith, Neville Smith Jr; special family Olney Bean [Earl “Lee”], Blanche Joyiens, Albert [Debbie], Brian [Ann] Botelho and Bruce Gibbons; godchildren Wayne Ebbin, Belinda Harris, Fawn Wade, Shari-Lynn Pringle, Lovette Smith, Karina Smith and Herman Dill; special friends Dianne Weldon Richardson, Myra Cooper, Odell Zuill, Ingrid Brangman, Pat Seymour, Judy Bascome, Creswell Williams, Lattice “Tissy” Wells, Aleathea Rabain, Sandra Garcia, Betsy Tutt, Roddy and Marquita Burchall, Joanne and Heman Smith, Wendy DaCosta, Laquita Mahon and Amanda Cann. Sandra was a much-loved member of the Trott, DeSilva, Joyiens, Botelho and Butterfield and Vallis families, and will be sorely missed by all.
