We regret to announce the passing of Sheri Cynthia Lois Simons.
A private graveside homegoing service celebrating the life of Sheri Cynthia Lois Simons the beloved daughter of Gary and Lois Simons [nee Hayward] and sister to Edwin Simons, Devona Simons, Kineta Fox [Kenneth] and Rosina Bala [Rajendra], granddaughter to the late John and Margaret Simons and late Mark and Traves Hayward in her 51st year of 72 Happy Valley Road, Devonshire, will be held at St. John’s Cemetery on Saturday, April 3, 2021 at 1 pm.
Viewing will be held at Augustus Funeral Home Rose Chapel on Thursday, April 1, 2021 from 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm.
Lovingly remembered by her nephew Kenneth Fox and nieces: Raina Bala and Kennedy Fox; aunts: Edith Thomas, Olive Butterfield, Jennifer Dill [Reginald], Ann Ming [Floyd]; uncles: Franklyn Simons [Marrietta], Oliver Simons [Margaret], Clinton Simons, Charles, Walter, Colin and Vernon Hayward; godchildren: Dezjuan Thomas and Barry Blind Jr.; Godparents: Oliver Simons, Claudette Smith, and Judy Hayward. special daughter: Brinae Godwin; special friends: Shirley Marrow [USA], Opal Wilson, Rev. Dr. Georgette Prime-Godwin, Jacqueline Robinson, Irma Burrows, Holley Richardson [USA] and a host of other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
Sheri Simons was predeceased by aunts: Bradlyn Van Lowe, Marilyn Virgil, Linda Bennett; uncles: Winslow, Vincent and David Hayward.
Covid-19 precautions are to be observed and are required to have a maximum limit of 10 person in the viewing chapel at any given time. Mask and hand sanitation will be required and social distancing observed.
