It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Joanne Laverne Raynor of New York, U.S.A, formerly of Bermuda, on January 30, 2021 in her 66th year, loving daughter of the late Leonard and Rhoda Raynor, daughter of the late Lynette Smith Cheltenham and the late Llewelyn Spencer [Merry Mice] Darrell. She is survived by her sons, Omar and Micah Smith [Father Stephen Smith]; grandchildren; Ahzjanai; Amaari; Amiah; Soleil; Toriano. Siblings: Michele Turner; Wayne Dill; Donelle Brangman; Gregory Dill; Rhonda Jennings; Wanda [Tyrone] Hill; Ruthanne Pitter; Andrei Simons; Jerome [Alan] McCree; the late David [Toots] Darrell and the late Andre Spencer. Special Sisters: Jeanette Raynor and the late Brenda Hayden Raynor; and The entire Raynor, Smith, Lightbourne, Darrell and Lowe families. other family/friends both here and abroad too numerous to mention.
A funeral service celebrating her life will be held on Tuesday February 16, 2021 at Vernon Temple AME Church, Middle Road, Southampton at 4:00pm. Please be advised only 80 persons will be allowed in the Church for the funeral service. Viewing at the Church from 3:00 to 3:45pm. Memorial Chapel, Khyber Pass, Please be advised only 10 persons permitted in the Chapel at a time.
