It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Joan Winifred Pedro in her 94th year. A private graveside service was held in her honor on Saturday – January 30, 2021. Joan is survived by her husband Noel, daughter Joann Fryer, sister Barbara Mayne, her sisters-in-law Norene and Evelyn. Her grandchildren Alex [Rebecca], Heidi and Christopher [Grace]. Her great grandchildren Brittany, Jacob, Toby, Isaac and Chris.
She will be lovingly remembered also by her many nieces and nephews here and in the U.S.
A very special thanks to Dr. Lau, Jen and Charmelle for their special care given to Joan.
Over the years Joan’s outgoing personality and natural ability to make people laugh, gave her so many friends young and old, near and far. Her mantra in life was never to be conventional. This is what kept her young. Joan and her sister Barbara, her confidant and partner in crime have spent many years around younger people. This allowed Joan to be herself and grow into this wonderful selfless individual that her family loved her for. Joan never ceased to amaze us.
We will all miss and love forever this amazing woman, and her zest for life.
