We regret to announce the passing of Mr. Coleman John Henry Matthews, son of the late Alfred [Freddie] George Matthews and Florence Rosabell Matthews [nee Pearman] of 24 Upland Street, Devonshire DV 06 in his 74th year. The funeral service will be held at Christ Anglican Church, Middle Road, Devonshire on, Monday, January 18th 2021 at 12 noon. Interment will follow at Christ Anglican Church cemetery.
He is lovingly remembered by his son Shivaughn Smith and granddaughter Shakeela Smith.
Coleman is survived by his brothers Franklyn Pearman, Warren [Tony] Stovell [USA] and Chris Jordan [USA] sisters: Pamela Pitcher, Rosemary Matthews, Sharon Bartram, and Valda Peniston-Charles; numerous nieces, nephews, great and great- great nieces and nephews, friends Percy Matthews, Reuben Mallory, Winfield Goater, Larry Ebbin, Albert Fox, Albert Steede, Malcolm Simons and Morris Francis, Bob Smith and the Brock, Dill, Mallory, Pearman, Pitt, Santucci and Thomas families. Overseas friends Martha Alexander, Theodosia Smith, Cici and Virginia Coleman. Caregivers Sandra Brangman, Atiriah Morgan and Beverly Walkes.
A viewing will be held on Sunday January 17th from 6:00 to 7.30 p.m. at Amis Memorial Chapel.
The family would like to extend special Thanks to doctors, Vestweber, Adesanya, Outerbridge and nurses and staff on Ace-Barber Ward.
