Augustus Funeral Home regrets to announce the passing of Malcolm George MacDonald Augustus.
A Home Going service celebrating the life of Malcolm George MacDonald Augustus, beloved husband of Claudia Augustus, son of the late George and Dorothy Augustus, loving father of Dorothy Augustus, Melva Paynter [Vernon ‘Butch’] and Deborah Bean; brother of the late Gladstone Augustus [Phyllis], Leslie ‘Teller’ Virgil [Idell] and Glenda Woods in his 83rd year of #1 Henry’s Hill, Bailey’s Bay will be held at Christ Anglican Church Devonshire Today, September 11th at 3:00pm.
Interment will follow at Christ Church Devonshire Cemetery. Flowers may be sent.

Malcolm Augustus was the grandfather of the late Malcolm ‘Cricket’ Augustus, Quincy Paynter [Patrina], Vernita Hollis [Germaine], Michelle Hodsoll and Jamel Williams; great-grandfather of the late Malcolm ‘Quayshaun’ Augustus, Keishaun Augustus, Jaquari Paynter, Darren, M’Kai and Monique Hodsoll, Jahde Dowling and Jayda Dill. Mr. Augustus was also loved and survived by his aunt: Blanche Tucker; uncle: Richard Johnson [Mary]; sisters-in-law: Gretal & Phyllis Eversley and Grace James; brothers-in-law: Gerald James [Gloria], Richard James [Valerie], Maurice James [Mary], Ronald James [Marion]; godchildren: Renee and Tisha James, Gina, Lisa and Angela James, Pamela Smith, Eldo Campbell, Earnest Thomas and Tony James; special cousins: Brenda & Carmen Augustus; special friends: George Morton, Audey Campbell, Herman ‘Butch’ Smith, Alan ‘Popsie’ Smith, Roger Steel, Edith Thomas and Juanita ‘Cookie’ Knight; caregivers: Gladys Caisey and a Heaven sent angel, Sally Rochester; and an abundance of family and friends, too numerous to mention.
