Augustus Funeral Home Augustus Funeral Home regrets to announce the death of well-known educator, Bertram Ian Everard Guishard in his 88th year. Mr. Guishard was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Alwyn [Ina] Guishard, husband to the late Beatrice Elizabeth Stucker Guishard, father to James [Calvina] Guishard and Jonathon Guishard, and adored his loving grand-daughter Chayah Guishard.
A Memorial Service to celebrate his life and home-going, will be held on Thursday, February 25, 2016 at the Crawl Gospel Hall, 167 North Shore Road, Hamilton Parish at 2:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations to his memory may be made to The Berkeley Educational Society, P.O. Box HM 1133, Hamilton, HM EX and The Heydon Trust, P.O. Box HM 328, Hamilton HM BX.
Mr. Guishard is survived by siblings: Phyllis Basden, Ianthe Tucker, Rosamund [Arnold] Daniels, Philip [Anne] Guishard; nieces and nephews: Paul [Karyn] Richardson, Stephen [Marjorie] Richardson, Valerie [Earl] Francis, Jonelle [Kevin] Christopher, Stephanie Cameron, Elaine [Michael] Belinda [Edward] Harris, Anthony [Maureen] Fox, Lawrence [Lisa] Fox, Linda [Gladstone] Augustus, David Fox, Sheldon [Euanne] Fox, Mark [Helen] Guishard, Vanessa [Cleun] Gaiton, Carol Daniels, Paula Daniels, Arnold Daniels, Laverne Daniels; special son and daughter: Gary [Sylvia] Smith and Brenda Lister, and other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
He is also predeceased by siblings: George Guishard, Dorothy [John] Simmons, Majorie [Edward] Richardson and Arthur [Gracelyn] Guishard; brothers-in-law: William Basden, LeDrew Fox Jr. and Hewitt “Bobby” Tucker; nieces and nephews: Beverley [Kennedy] Smith and Michael Fox.
