A service celebrating the life of Mr. Richard Alick Grant, husband of Gloria Steede Grant, father of Dwanita Grant, Richenda Symons and R. Christopher Grant; son of the late Cecil Grant and the late Florence Grant nee Brangman; grandfather of Alisha Symons, Zipporah Grant and Zac Chaeus Grant, in his 81st year of 17 Cooks Hill, Sandys MA 05, will be held 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 7, 2018 at Mount Zion A.M.E. Church, Whale Bay, Southampton. Interment will follow at St. James Cemetery, Somerset.
Visitation: Relatives and friends may pay their respects on Thursday evening only, December 6th at Vernon Temple A.M.E. Church, Middle Road, Southampton from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m.
Richard also leaves to cherish his memory: Brothers and sisters – Winifred Lynch, Stephanie Wellman, Calvin Grant, Maxwell Grant [Madree] and Sandra Lambe; parents of grandchildren: Charles Symons and Tene’ Grant; his numerous nieces, nephews; godchildren: Delight Morris, Danielle Daniels and Kairah Woolaston; other dear relatives and friends. Richard was predeceased by siblings Lionel Grant, Carmin John and Ethme Thompson.
